Ilan Frank of Slack joins CX Network to share the story of the business instant messaging tool that began life as a side project of another initiative.

Slack was born of the concept messages should be sorted by content rather than their sender, making finding and sharing information on projects easier.

Frank discusses how Slack has become a true alternative to email, and how channel-based messaging is built for the future of work.

Additionally, he shares how the tool has adapted during the pandemic and highlighted how company alignment is key to success.
