Easol raises $30m to enhance experiences for experience businesses
The Series A was an extension funding round with $20 million equity from Y Combinator, Tiger Global, Foundation Capital, FMZ Ventures, Notion Capital, Eight Roads and a $10 million debt facility with Viola Credit.
Launched in 2021 by festival Co-Founders Ben and Lisa Simpson, Easol's new clients include Coachella, Stage Coach, Rapha, Swingers - The Home of Revelry, Boots in the Park, Defected, State of Play Hospitality, Bingo Loco and More.
As an experience commerce platform for experience businesses around the world, Easol enables experience businesses to bring their technology in-house with full ownership to manage bookings, payments, marketing and support, and guest data through one-connected system.
Its new capital allows it to develop and launch its flagship agentic tool, Teammates.
Many experience businesses operating with small central teams, means missed revenue - but with Easol's Teammates they can now put their revenue on auto pilot.
One major client's Teammates Agent found hundreds of guests holding a booking with no upsells booked, around $50,000 of revenue opportunity, and produced the customer list and the outreach to go after it. Another business using Teammates identified $28,000 of recoverable payments in seconds, a job that had previously taken two days.
Co-founder and CEO Ben said: "We believe the experience businesses that adopt AI will have a competitive advantage that will be transformative. They'll be able to look after every guest like never before, grow bookings with specialist agents working as an extension of their team using their live data to operate, analyze, provide insights and take action across and keep watch over their whole business, while their teams focus on their customer relationships and delivering world class experiences."
Reindeer AI unveils Self Evolve 10 months after Seed round
Ten months after it raised $20 million in its Seed round, Reindeer AI has launched its flagship platform for building enterprise AI agents.
Self Evolve was created to "break enterprise AI's dependence on armies" of forward deployed engineers (FDEs) going against the grain of recent trends. Some of the biggest names in tech have invested billions in the FDE model, including AWS and Microsoft, but Reindeer is putting its money on the other horse.
Reindeer says enterprise AI has "a fundamental scaling problem". Specifically, too many systems require costly, ongoing human intervention to deliver the promised level of automation. FDEs an get individual agents running, but "the economics become unsustainable as businesses scale from a handful of agents to hundreds operating across constantly evolving systems and workflows".
To solve this, Reindeer's Self Evolve enables AI agents to begin working with partial knowledge and build expertise through real-world experience, rather than requiring engineers to anticipate every scenario before deployment.
Self Evolve operates across enterprise environments and existing technology stacks, including Azure- and AWS-based deployments.
The platform is designed to support organizations moving from isolated agent implementations to enterprise-wide automation without requiring engineering resources to increase proportionately with deployment volume.
Freshworks acquires Israeli start up Robusta Dev
Freshworks now offers AI-powered incident investigation and prevention to Freshservice users following its acquisition of Robusta Dev.
The start-up is an AI-powered incident investigation company that helps IT teams diagnose outages the way an experienced engineer would, identifying root causes, showing supporting evidence and recommending fixes so on-call teams can start with a diagnosis instead of an alert.
The acquisition strengthens Freshservice's capabilities in incident management and IT operations. It bridges the gap between deep diagnostic intelligence, IT service management, and modern incident orchestration powered by platforms like FireHydrant. Together, this ecosystem helps IT and engineering teams move faster from identifying problems to resolving them, and ultimately to preventing them altogether.
"LLMs are fantastic at troubleshooting incidents," said Natan Yellin, co-founder and CEO of Robusta. "Our technology lets AI Agents do that effectively in large enterprise environments, where there are so many raw events that investigating each one individually would be exorbitant from a token cost perspective. We're incredibly excited to join Freshworks, which gives us the scale and platform to bring that experience to engineering teams everywhere, while keeping humans firmly in control of decisions that touch production."
For Freshworks, this is the second acquisition of October, following its deal to snap up Torii.
The terms of the Robusta Dev acquisition have not been disclosed.
Wrapped Health raises $2.1m to bring agentic commerce to healthcare
Wrapped Health raised $2.1 million in a pre-Seed funding co-led by Lightbank and Arteria Capital, the healthcare AI fund founded by Russell Glass.
The start-up will leverage this funding to expand product and engineering development, integrate with additional electronic health record (EHR) systems, and cultivate partnerships with provider organizations, health systems, and digital health platforms.
Wrapped Health is building AI-native infrastructure to bring agentic commerce to healthcare, bridging the gap between clinical care and retail commerce and services.
Integrated into the EHR, Wrapped understands clinical context, anticipates patient needs, and personalizes health recommendations, whether during a doctor's visit or at key moments throughout care, from pregnancy and postpartum to chronic condition management and post-surgical recovery. By connecting patients directly to trusted retailers and helping them use available FSA/HSA benefits, Wrapped makes it easier to turn clinical guidance into action and brings the convenience of modern commerce to healthcare.
"Patients can buy almost anything with one click, except the products their doctor tells them they need," said Max Russell-Harris, co-founder and CEO of Wrapped Health. "Healthcare has built digital systems for prescriptions, labs, and imaging, but there's still a huge gap when it comes to everyday health products. We're building that missing connection. It shouldn't matter whether you're seeing your local doctor, visiting a major health system, or getting care online. If your provider recommends something, getting it should be the easy part."
