Head of e-Channels- Group Product Development, Wholesale Banking UOB

As Head of e-Channels in Group Product Development, Wholesale Banking, Nick is responsible for driving the design and build of the internet and mobile banking platforms for business customers across the Group. Collaborating with Business and Technology partners through the agile ways of working, he constantly focuses on creating customer centric journeys and capabilities to deliver intuitive customer experiences across channels resulting in deeper engagements, relationship and connectivity to achieve UOB Group’s vision to be a premier regional bank in Asia Pacific. Prior to his current role, Nick was the Head of Group Digital Engagement in Group Channels where he led in the transformation of customer engagement across omni-channel through data analytics, customer insights and foresights. He is also involved in the FinLab Programme (an accelerator programme between UOB and SG Innovate) embracing Innovation and partnership with eco-systems partners to drive better outcomes for the Bank and its Customers. Before returning to Singapore to join UOB, Nick was the Deputy CEO for Mekong Development Bank in Vietnam and General Manager for Fullerton Guarantee in South West China under Fullerton Financial Holdings (subsidiary of Temasek Holdings). He was also part of the pioneer team to launch Fullerton Myanmar Micro-Finance in 2014. Nick has over 23 years of banking experience of which 13 years was with HSBC Singapore and Vietnam. He was the first to deploy biometric debit cards and ATM in Vietnam and led HSBC Vietnam to win the Best Internet Banking for 2 consecutive years during his leadership. Of the numerous awards which UOB has won, he led the deployment of the cardless cash withdrawal on the ATM through the UOB Mighty app.
