Executive Vice President, Head of Regions Design Regions
Todd Keith

As Head of Experience Design (XD) at Regions, Todd spends much of his time fostering an environment of collaboration, divergent thinking and trust within his teams and the critical business, product and technology partners necessary to make good design happen. While XD drives innovation and user-centered design practices at the bank, without strong product-design-technology alignment, the best designs will never be fully realized. When not at his day job, Todd has published several books about his native state, Alabama, such as the guidebook, Inside Guide to Birmingham, published by Globe Pequot Press and Birmingham Then and Now, a look at the architectural history of his hometown, published by Thunder Bay Press. Todd Keith is an innovative leader, strategist, speaker and author who heads Regions Experience Design (XD) group to create useable and delightful digital interactions that balance experiential design and customer needs with business goals. By creating and establishing an environment of collaboration, divergent thinking and trust, high-performing design teams drive innovation and user-centered design practices at the bank. The group's scope includes informing design architecture and engineering, content orchestration, and designing intuitive, accessible web and mobile front-ends with realistic behaviors across channels, browsers and devices. Todd and team have transformed XD from a small agency-within to a full operational partner working in solution areas across the bank to enable XD processes that ensure Regions invests in building the digital products and features that customers want to make their lives better. A native of Alabama, Todd has also written The Rivers of Alabama, and Cahaba: A Gift for Generations, two books of essays focusing on the rivers of his native state, as well as Old Cahawba, a history of Alabama’s first state capital. His guidebook, Inside Guide to Birmingham, was published by Globe Pequot Press. Birmingham Then and Now, a look at the architectural history of his hometown, was published by Thunder Bay Press.
