Rushikesh Kulkarni has over 15 years of experience leading global design teams and helping organizations build research, innovation, and design capabilities. In his current role, Rushikesh Kulkarni leads the customer experience team at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. He is responsible for driving customer centricity within the organization and ensuring that the customer experiences across all channels are easy, useful, and personal. Before Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Rushikesh Kulkarni led the service design, experience design, and innovation teams at Wellington management, Publicis Sapient, and Human Factors International. During this time, Rushikesh Kulkarni executed several large-scale digital transformation projects for institutional asset managers, wealth managers, banks, and insurance companies. He also designed several innovative products, services, and digital experiences, for which he received a few international design and innovation awards. Rushikesh Kulkarni has a multi-disciplinary design background. He has a bachelor's degree in Architecture, and a master's in Industrial design. Rushikesh specializes in applying a human-centered approach to design, products, processes, systems, services, environments, and cultures that create value for customers and businesses. Originally from a small town called Satara in India, Rushikesh Kulkarni has traveled to multiple countries for research projects and employment. He currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts, with his wife and daughter.
