Denise (Dee) Sommerville joined JPMorganChase in July 2020 as an Operations Executive, Head of Commercial Bank Middle Office responsible for managing client onboarding, servicing, client experience, transformation and metrics & reporting. She is an innovative leader with expertise in managing large complex organizations through transformational change. Both operational and technologically savvy with proficiency in strategic planning, people development, budgeting, streamlining business processes and enhancing client service and experience. Recognized for strategic thinking, developing effective relationships, solving and leading diverse and global teams. In 2017, Dee joined BNY Mellon as Global Head of Asset Management Operations & Transformation. In 2006 Dee joined Morgan Stanley Investment Bank as Global Head of Loans, Cash Management, Settlements & Payments and Americas Head of US Bank Operations. At start of her career, Dee was an executive at Accenture for 10 years serving in the Financial Markets Strategy & Technology practice focusing on Mergers, Acquisitions, Business Start-ups and Trading & Operation system solutions. Dee served on BKI Board, Co-Chair of Digital Council Leadership forum and Chair of the Women's Network at BNYMellon. Dee formally served as a CLS CAS Board member and on the Federal Reserve Payment Risk Committee. Dee also serves on a few non-profit organizations. Dee has a BS from Fairfield University in Computer Science, Business Finance Management. Holds several FINRA Series licenses.
