Mr Joe Durkan

With three decades of Life and Health industry experience as Exco member and running a Management Consultancy, Joe has primarily focused on driving new strategic initiatives around distribution, product and marketing for local and MNC insurers across Asian markets.  In his current role with one of the region’s leading innovative reinsurers, he constructs ready-to-implement solutions for insurance clients, which includes utilizing selective third-party specialist partnerships where distinctive capabilities are needed.  Recent readily-deployable solutions include a Health & Wellness platform utilizing biometric data with accompanying mobile wellness tracking and health resource, as well as digital engagement and sales solutions which will be the focus of this presentation.

Having resided in Hong Kong, Malaysia, India and now Singapore, as well as working with companies across numerous North and SE Asia markets, Joe thrives on the varied characters, culture, cuisine, business opportunities and innovation appetite which Asia provides.
