Monday, November 9th, 0020

10:00 WORKSHOP ONE: SETTING UP EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE STRATEGY

This is a must attend workshop, aimed at organisations pursuing competitive people advantage and setting themselves up to think more strategically about Employee Experience.

Improvised employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, thrown together to fulfil one specific short to mid term goal just doesn’t cut it anymore. Sophisticated and forward looking employers are moving beyond annual engagement surveys, generalised reward & benefit schemes and annual activities to promote wellness to a truly integrated holistic approach.

This workshop will provide you with practical advice and tools for setting up Employee Experience strategy and navigating the complexity of this journey.

You will walk away with:
·        An understanding of what a compelling end-to-end EX design looks like and its components
·        Guidance on how to develop experience capabilities within your HR team
·        An ability to reassess and identify your strength and weaknesses, as well as areas to focus on
· Knowledge of how to effectively support and motivate your employees

Main Conference Day One (24 Sep)

Wednesday, December 9th, 2020

11:30 PANEL DISCUSSION: HOW DO WE MAXIMISE THE ROLE OF LEADERSHIP IN DELIVERING SUPERHERO EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE?

There are many factors which can make or break Employee Experience, and one of them is considered more crucial than most – the leadership team. It is not only the mere commitment to the cause that will make any EX design come to life; more importantly, it is the understanding of what the employees need to be able to thrive. Moreover, they need to possess the knowledge and skills on how to make it happen and take daily steps in the right direction, leading by example and setting guidelines and best practices.

From team managers to the executive board, our leadership has a duty to establish modern, employee-friendly workplaces and it is the duty of the HR practice to enable them with the right tools and knowledge to achieve that.

This panel discussion will provide you with information needed to be able to drive your leadership to champion Employee Experience. We will discuss questions around:
·         The main obstacles to delivering EX successfully
·         The role of the leadership team in delivering EX
·         The challenges leaders are facing in driving EX
·         The data needed to engage the leadership team in taking initiative in delivering EX
·         The key skills that the leadership team needs to possess and the best way to get these across
·         Making EX a business priority for everyone

15:15 PANEL DISCUSSION: CONNECTIVITY: A BLESSING OR A BURDEN?

We are more connected than we have ever been, we have access to the most innovative and facilitating technology we’re ever had, almost everywhere. We spend more time online and working than ever before, yet employee engagement and wellbeing remain at their lowest, with a shocking impact on mental and physical health. Why?

Join this panel and discuss how to make our digital lives more manageable and enjoyable, ensuring technology is used as a tool to empower, rather than a tool to make your employees feel chained to work. The panel members will explore the following:

·         Your role in encouraging a healthy work-life balance
·         Acknowledging when things are about to go too far
·         Advice to prevent irreversible damage
