Mr Michael Utama

Michael Utama is an Associate Solutions Engineer in Alteryx, responsible for the provision of deep technical expertise and consultancy to potential and existing Alteryx users today.  Before joining Alteryx, Michael was a customer-turned-fan of the Alteryx platform as a Data Analyst in a global insurance broking firm, responsible for implementing claims and broking analytics project powered by Alteryx. 

Being a passionate advocate of Alteryx, Michael truly believes with the mantra that anyone can solve problems with data and have a lot of fun and creativity in doing so.  He regards the Alteryx platform like a “Legoland for Analysts” – An angsana for data storytellers and enthusiasts to unleash their creativity by assembling “data pieces” and achieve insights from data that is quite unimaginable. 

Michael graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Business Analytics.  Under our Alteryx for Good (AFG) initiative, Michael regularly visits his alma mater to deliver Alteryx trainings for “the future generations of data enthusiasts”.
