David Raab

David M. Raab is a Principal at Raab Associates, Inc., where he advises consumer and business marketers on marketing processes, technology, and service vendors. He is founder and CEO of the Customer Data Platform Institute, which educates marketers about customer data management and technologies.

David has written hundreds of articles on marketing technology and he is the author of Marketing Performance Measurement Toolkit (Racom Books, 2009), B2B Marketing Automation Vendor Selection Tool and Guide to Customer Data Platforms. Additional research appears regularly on his blog

Before Raab Associates, David held corporate positions including Circulation Director of The Runner magazine, Vice President/Business Manager of Gruner + Jahr USA Parents Magazines and Book Clubs, and Vice President/List Research and Development at the Franklin Mint. His responsibilities have included marketing management, financial planning, systems development and statistical research. He holds a bachelor's degree from Columbia University and MBA from the Harvard Business School.
